CWUS Wineries & Vineyards in California Re-certified by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance

All Constellation Wines U.S.' California wineries and approximately 12,000 acres of vineyards in California have been re-certified as part of the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance’s third–party certification program. CWUS received its first certification on January 13th, 2010 when the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) formally announced the establishment of this program.

The CSWA is a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization created by the Wine Institute and the California Association of Winegrape Growers to promote the benefits of sustainable winegrowing practices, enlist industry commitment, and assist in implementation of the Sustainable Winegrowing Program. This third-party certification program is based on 227 best environmental and socially equitable business practices. Receiving certification a second time further illustrates CWUS’ continuing commitment to producing high quality wines while focusing on its responsibility to the environment and the communities where we work and live.
